Invisibly grey

When a differently-abled person assumes someone is being an asshole because they don’t move out of the way, it frustrates me. Today this happened. Though Ido not carry any device that would identify me as differently-abled, I certainly am not able to move as quickly out of the way for someone. It pisses me off because this is the grey area I constantly live in, where nothing externally identifies me as handicapped until I start to walk or make eye contact with someone. If I could speak to the grunting man trying to pass me today at the train station, I’d say “fuck you” and teach him that he isn’t the only one suffering because society sucks.

This is a frustration not often vented because who in our population runs into this issue often enough? I begrudge society and overall this life in currently wandering throughout
